Tour Plan
Day 1 : Jammu - Pahalgam (Approx 6 - 7 hrs )
Pickup from Jammu Railway station and drive to Pahalgam, afternoon rich in
Pahalgam, check in Hotel, and evening market, after back to Hotel and Overnight
stay.
Day 2 : Pahalgam - Srinagar (94 Kms / approx 3 hrs)
After Breakfast visit to Pahalgam Local sightseeing , Aru Valley, Betab Valley,
Chandanwari,
Starting point of Betab valley, Located on the way to Chandanwari, the valley
was named Betaab after the bollywood movie by the same name! after the release
of the movie, it was renamed as major part of the movie was shot here.Post lunch
(at your own) proceed for trip to Aru Valley. Aru Valley is a tourist spot 11 km
from Pahalgam noted for its scenic meadows, and mountains, it is a base camp for
trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies of the left
bank of the Aru river, which is a tributary of the Lidder river After
sightseeing back to Srinagar, Check in Hotel and Overnight stay.
Day 3 : Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar - (65 Kms, 2 ½ Hrs one way)
After Breakfast drive to Gulmarg. Located at a distance of 65 kms from Srinagar.
The place is an ideal retreat for winter sports such as skiing.
You can also enjoy a cable car ride with your family and friends. After
sightseeing Return back to srinagar - check in Hotel. Check in hotel for dinner
and overnight stay.
Day 4 : Srinagar to Sonamarg to Drass Approx 4 hrs Journey
After breakfast visit Mughal gardens, Chashma Shahi, Nishat garden and Shalimar
garden. after drive to sonamarg -Sonamarg sightseeing thajwas Glacear after
drive to Drass on the way see Zero point after crossing the Zoji-la pass
(11,500-ft. / 3,505 mtrs) Zo jila Pass (a high altitude pass); rich in Drass
visit India Pakistan Kargil War memorial hall and Museum- also known as
Vijaypath. The memorial was constructed by the Indian Army in the memory of the
soldiers and officers of the Indian Army who laid their lives in Kargil War.
Overnight in the hotel at Kargil.
Day 5 : Kargil - Lamayuru- (Indus Zanskar River Conference ) - Magnetic Hill -
Leh ( 235 kms / 6-7 hours )
After Breakfast check out hotel and drive to Leh, enroute viewing / visiting the
dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining "Moonland" hills
forming its backdrop. After drive to Leh on routes visit Sanagm (confluence of
Indus & Zanskar Rivers), (River RAFTING POINT - you can rafting here 2 or 3 hrs)
after drive to Magnetic Point, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara & Hall of Fame (museum of
military heritage).
Magnetic hill to marvel at the amazing natural wonder. Also pay respects to
Pathar Sahib Gurudwara- constructed in memory of Guru Nanak Dev ji- the founder
of Sikh religion and the first guru . Continue your road journey. On arrival in
Leh, visit the Hall of Fame Museum a war memorial by the Indian Army that was
founded in the memory of Indian soldiers who laid lives in Indo-Pak wars.
Complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6 : Leh Full Day - Monastery Sightseeing
After morning breakfast visiting the most important monasteries of Ladakh - Shey
Palace, Thiksey Gompa and Hemis monastery .
Shey Palace, once the summer palace of the pre-Tibetan kings. The palace
monastery houses a large, bronze, blue haired Buddha statue and next stop at
superbly situated, 16th century, Thiksey Monastery, after visit to 3idiot movie
school called Rancho school after visit to Sindhu river Darshan after back to
leh and visit to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. After drop to the market or hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 : Leh - Khardungla - Nubra Hunder Valley (4- 5 Hrs) - Turtuk Village back
- Hunder
After breakfast drive to Nubra valley over the Khardung la,(18300feet) highest
motor able road in the World. and Proceed to Diskit Monastery
Diskit Monastery also known as Diskit Gompa or Diskit Gompa is the oldest and
largest Buddhist monastery in the Nubra Valley of Ladakh, northern India. AND
LORD Maitrya BUDDHA STATUE , After drive to Turtuk Village Sightseeing Approx 2
hrs journy from hunder, After explores drive back to hunder toward the down
Hunder past an area of rolling sand dunes, one can see double hump Camel and
visitors can take a camel safari dunes at Hundar. Over night in Camp / Hotel.
Day 8 : Hunder - Pangong Lake via shayok river ( Approx 5 Hrs)
After breakfast at hotel we drive to next destination pangong lake via Shyok and
Tang Tse and It's a short cut and it's a beautiful route. The road follows the
Shyok river, and climbs up a mountain before finally descending into Shayok
village. It took us less than an hour to reach Shayok, and we were delighted at
the sight of the rather big village surrounded by barren mountains, the entire
setting being very picturesque.Afternoon we reach at Pangong lake and enjoy your
day at pangong lake. Overnight stay at camp.
Day 9 : Pangong Tso Lake - Leh ( Approx 5 - 6 hrs)
After Brekfast check out Hotel drive back to Leh via Changla pass, Afternoon
rich in Leh , driver will drop to the Hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 10 : Leh Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel & drop at Airport for return journey
with sweet memories of Ladakh Tour
